Not a great photo, but it might interest some here. I was testing out my Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens and came across this gull repeatedly picking up a clam, flying up into the sky, and then dropping it into the shallow water below. I'm quite certain he was targeting rocks that he/she hoped would crack open the shell so as to reveal the meaty morsels inside.
The museum in Plymouth is being transformed and oddly rebranded as "The Box" - it's an ambitious project that includes buildings in the surrounding area such as the old St Lukes church. You can't get in there at the moment but there's a lot going on visually...
