I was scouting Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs on Friday. I couldn't pass up capturing this shot of the sun passing through the top of this impressive rock formation.
As I was hiking back from an overlook, my eye caught this wonderful tree against the red rocks in the background. This was captured in mid day light with little cloud cover. The red rocks were radiating the mid day light.

There was no winter this year,so early spring has arrived well in advance.Winter aconites,winter yasmins,various spring crocuses,snowdrops and mezereons are in full bloom.Autumn garden vegetables have survived as there was no real frost.
Having just arrived in Vienna for a 3-5 month stay the first shot was from the apartment window ! A miserable day today but still a few from a short stroll around the centre.
