I posted images of Mandarin Ducks several times. They are considered the most beautiful and for sure the most colorful ducks out there. And here is the cousin, probably the runner up in both categories, the Wood Duck...

Thanks Rich, it was definitely chilly. Low 20's and it started to snow a little as I headed back out. I couldn't collapse my tripod back at the car, it was coated in ice.
Luckily I was able to beat the mess of weather coming through today, I'm sure you're getting it as well.

Hi Tim,
Excellent images. With the ice, it looks cold and slippery.

Hi Tim,
Sorry you couldn't collapse your tripod. That was a PIA.
The Weather Channel keeps changing our forecast. It has gone from an estimate of 3-5" to 1-3" back to 3-5" and now back to 1-3" of snow. But it is now 23 degrees F with a chill factor of 15 degrees F. The high is supposed to be 30 degrees F and unfortunately they are now forecasting a 70% chance of rain and a low of 29 degrees F for tonight. So I am now expecting ice on top of whatever we get for our snow accumulation.
A few shots of my boy climbing today, all with the R3 and 85/1.8, what a great little combo! The gym door opening provided a spotlight on his face in the first shot, and I just had to turn it b/w to make it pop.
