Lots of particulate matter in the air from record bush fires the previous few day, so it was hazy, but the client wanted this shot and it had to be captured asap and on a tight budget.
I'm no BIF photographer but was holding the A9 + Sigma 105 Art when I captured this spotted turtle dove (I think).
The hike started with blue skies but quickly changed to storm clouds and then snow. I captured these hikers to provide some scale to the size of the pine trees.
