Impressive macro series, Ronny.
Stephen: Very nice waterfall shot. The waterflow looks smooth as silk. I wish I had the time to take a few waterfall shots this past fall.
Douglas: Nice series two pages back. I really like the sunrise shot with the morning fog.
Joshua, Mitesh: Great birdie work. I'm more impressed that the 200-600 is usable with the 1.4x TC than the 600 GM's performance with the 2x TC, even though that just shows how far we've come. And to think that during the a-mount days, Sony never bothered to update those old Minolta TC's.
Thank you very much, Chris! Yes, the 200-600mm is a very impressive performer, especially for the money. The significant advantage of the GM 600mm is the shallower DOF for a slightly smoother background and yes, a slightly higher shutter speed to freeze certain actions.
That's an impressive cityscape! I love it!

Another from the fog.
Wow, Eric, that's an awesome image! That's not from Arizona, right? Or is it?
A little after the first sunshine lit the spot, cedar waxwings came down and had breakfast. They love those Toyon berries. Too bad they just did that for only a few brief seconds. Shortly after that image, they took off and not to be seen again for the rest of the morning... The white substance of the leaves and some berries is frost as it has been unseasonably cold in Southern California.
