Thanks so much Jim! I couldn't have asked for a better official photoshoot in my new home state. The light was so great. I made it just in time to setup for this sunrise shot.
120 years on, still quite a design - the Heliar lens, not the chörtens. They have been re-imagined here at Thöling Monastery. The Chinese government is funding the massive reconstruction effort and the Tibetan artisans do the work.
