I am curious about the A7r. Seeing some familiar faces on here Great shots, Ronny and John.
Yes, my frustration of accurate focusing with my D800 boiled over and Jorge offered me an excellent deal on a used A7R + grip. I took the plunge and now I'm firmly in "Alt" land with my F-mount lenses of various kinds (Zeiss, Leica R, and of course Nikon . .) trying to see if the camera is a keeper.
Trying not to buy any native FE glass if I can get away with it, but the 35/2.8 and 55/1.8 look pretty sweet . . . but my budget is kind of blown for the year.
I would love to see some more shots with the Nikon lenses. Sounds like MF with the A7r is easier based on some reviews. Your shots and Ronny's got me thinking
Finally got my Leica R to NEX adapter in from B&H, so some shots from Gregg's former 90/2 Cron Canada not-E55 (what would I call this lens anyway?)
I tried to veer from any contrast-type adjustments since it's a Leica lens and I wanted it to "do the talking" (supposedly they render low contrast?), just to see if I can see any rendering trademarks.
Most of these are just with a sunlight profile applied and maybe some minor tweaks to white point or exposure if my exposure was off.
Sorry for some of the composures - I'm not a portrait kinda guy
Girls - Probably at f/2.8
Boy - Maybe f/2.8 or 3.5
Girl again - Whatever's in between f/2 and 2.8 (2.5?)

Some from today with a newly acquired CV 35 Ultron 1.7, and a couple with the C/Y 2/100...
