Another image after sunset at the Santa Monica pier - there are 3 unrelated photographers here; the one in the front one was taking pictures of the pier from a little lower angle, the second one was doing basically the same thing but he included the first photographer while the third one included the first two. Although I took the image of all 3, for all we know there was another photographer behind me that included me in his/her composition .
That lizard is stunning, Roberta! How do you like the 1.4 on the R3? I've been holding off so far based on some impressions I've read, but would still like to have it for precisely those kinds of shots with my 100-400.

Thanks Scott. I have no issue at all with the 1.4 on the R3 with the 100-400. However using the 1.4 with the 200-600 on the R3, I am not that fond of the slower focus and a bit of lack of detail. It works very well on the 100-400 in my unlearned opinion
Thank you, Fred, for the answer of how to find the settings to set Focus Magnifier! I still don't understand why it wasn't put in the center button of the Control Wheel, as before. Oh, well -- case closed.
