'Discovered' in the early 1990s, this temple cave art dates from the 12th century. At almost 900 years old, it is among the most ancient of its genre, in the birthplace of the Second Diffusion of Tibetan Buddhism: the Guge Kingdom (present day Ngari) in far West Tibet. [It's a level 9 jpeg, such is the detail the 55 captured.]

My first and so far the only trip to Iceland was in summer 2011.
Would love to go there again soon, but somehow right now it seems I do have less time and money to spare for traveling. Hope to change this in the future.
Anyway - the pictures you do bring back from this magnificent and absolutely unique island are always really great! And they do the sceneries justice !
