I don't know how these shots could be any better.
Couple casual portraits of our friend Nick. He is a character and I always enjoy seeing him. He was kind enough to let me take a couple of snaps as he talked to my wife. This is Nick smiling.

Dave, thank you very much for your kind words. Those are the best I have been able to capture so far and I got very lucky since the distance was just perfect for the FL of that lens. I take luck over skill any time of the day. As you can tell, that lens is quite affordable. It is worth every penny, IMHO.
