Sunset at Brooklynn Bridge Park in DUMBO Brooklyn, NY. A good view of the Freedom Tower across the East River. I have a 13 shot panorama of the view between the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge that I will post when I get a chance but it was a beautiful afternon and evening in Brooklyn.
Voigtlander Super Wide-Heliar 15mm - croped to 4x5 format
The Peak Walk in Switzerland at 3000 m / 10'000 feet (first and only suspension bridge to connect two mountain peaks). Sounds more impressive than what it actually is . Still, I met three people on the bridge with a Sony A7 series camera. Crazy!

Gorgeous! I'll bet that was Saturday night because I could see the orange sky from my apartment.
Funny - I live on the border of DUMBO and Downtown Brooklyn (about 8 minutes from that spot) and I pass by there 4-5 times a week on my regular walks or runs through BB Park. It's such a part of my everyday that I often take it for granted and forget how beautiful it is! Thanks for reminding me!

Beautiful shot, Chuck. Was this taken last Wednesday evening? I took some shots of Manhattan with similar crazy clouds from Hoboken Ferry Terminal last Wednesday.
It’s one of my favorite places to visit for sunset and night shots of the Manhattan skyline. It was actually this past Monday night and the sky lit up with some nice yellow-orange color for a very brief amount of time. I was glad I had staked out my tripod spot plenty early and was in position to capture the color and the clouds in the best position. The panorama that I captured was after the sunset during the blue hour and some nice city and bridge lighting from both the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. I’m very jealous that you get to see this almost daily!

Douglas,
This was this past Monday August 26th but I do recall your very nice pics and they did have some similar looking clouds.

Thanks, Chuck. I don't go to New York often so when I go I like to get to some nice locations for sunrise/sunset. I have shot near the Brooklyn Bridge twice, the first time was at sunset, this recent time (the first picture) was at sunrise.
