These days I am using my A7R predominantly attached onto the trinocular head of my light microscope. I benefit from the small/light camera size which sits on top as well of the good resolution which brings out more detail compared to 22 MP FF. For this photo I took about 30 single frames at ISO 50 which I stacked together in PP. The applied microscope method is called dark field, magnification is about 100x. Photo of mosquito antennas.
The photo below is stacked from 18 frames, taken at ISO 100 with 400x microscope magnification. The method applied here is called phase contrast which is very useful for low contrast objects. Photo of penicillium fungus with spores.
Winds were at 25 mph, boat traffic and therefore waves were heavy. I had a lot of misses but got this shot. Maybe not critically sharp but I'm pretty satisfied considering the conditions.

Lovely shot. I prefer the black and white.

The peak in the upper center is called "Machu Picchu" or old peak in Quecha language of the Incas. The name of the lost city is derived from that peak's name. Yes, there were a lot visitors there...
the entry valley of the fearsome 5400m Umasi La, in Zanskar. Just above here, a gonyer tried to charge me to enter a Guru Rinpoche monastery that was locked, and had no key. He figured it was worth a try, I guess.
Looking right after the sun had dropped below the far hill; actual sunset was at 8:23.
