Few from the garden today. Only had a few minutes so I was a bit frustrated as the butterflies were fluttering all over and if I had more time I thought I could have gotten something better. Still fun tho!
Thank you, Rich. I live about 30 miles north of DC, with no traffic, I can get there in about 45 minutes, with rush hour traffic, maybe two hours. Fortunately I usual go there in very early morning on weekends. I got there around 4:30 this morning to photograph the Bartholdi Fountain but there was no water! Maybe next time.
View from the watch tower at the old gaol at South West Rocks NSW. The prisoners were supposed to build a breakwater that can be seen in the first shot, as you can see they didn't get very far.
Not shooting much lately aside from pics of the kiddo, but picked up a used CV 21 f/3.5 and got to use it a bit this evening. Really like what Voigtlander is putting out lately.
Winter morphs straight into summer here, snow melt plus barley shoots. Apparently the most snow in over 30 years in 2019, still lots of landslides, and now the monsoon threatens more drama in Spiti, Lahaul. #2 never seen more animals than this trip: foxes, ibex sheep, 1000s of marmots, birds galore. Some of Zanskar is so remote and tough no one goes there. That's where the bears are.
