First shot is of the Brisbane CBD from the south bank of the Brisbane river. Had some nice cloud formations develop behind the skyline. Second shot is my best friend Loki taken with 300 f/2.8.

Joshua,
Beautiful images and a place on my bucket list I have to visit some day! Even with the small compressed jpgs posted, I'm impressed with the IQ from the Sony FE 24-105 G lens. It really does an impressive job for a zoom lens. I love mine and as much as I enjoy shooting primes it is hard not to take the 24-105 with me when I go on a photo trip. I'm headed to Montana and will visit Glacier NP and my 24-105 lens is already packed. I just hope it can stand up to the 61 MP of the new A7RIV!

Thank you very much, Chuck! Yes, Machu Picchu is absolutely worth a visit. And that lens is a superb performer indeed. So far, it hasn’t failed for me to take it everywhere I have been to since I purchased that lens last year. It will also shine on the A7r IV for sure. Enjoy the Glacier NP!
Stonington, Maine
Stonington is a beautiful little town at the furthermost end of Deer Isle. It was originally a quarry -- hence the name -- but is now a busy lobster fishing village.

Last month I popped over to Uluru for a few days, and the combo of little light pollution, winter, and new moon made for some pretty awesome astro opportunities. This image was a pano from several 15 second exposures with the Loxia 21. Some day I'll bother with stacking and all the proper astro photography techniques, but for now I'm pretty happy
Stacking aside - this pano is just fantastic. I can see so many interesting details in the southern sky there and even Uluru is there , vey small but recognizable.
I have been there too almost 7 years ago, a magical place indeed, also with Katatjuta very close.
Absolutely loved those natural monuments! Just wished I had more time !
Hallo Helena . Another great set of B&W‘s here !
You are always inspiring with your photos, and I can imagine, even Trondheim can be a bit grey at some days in summer.
