Any idea if that's the plane that depicted the Belle in the movie? As far as I knew, the original was on display at a museum in Dayton, Ohio.

Scott, I believe the one in this picture was used in the movie. The real thing is in the USAF museum in Ohio.

I now feel obliged to post the only B-17 pic I've taken with my Sony, it's of Nine O Nine, which is basically a frankenfortress built from several others after the original Nine O Nine sustained heavy damage after numerous civilian crashes.

Thanks Joshua. Similar to me in terms of software. You just do it better

Looking forward to seeing your next shots.

Mark, thank you very much! I import my files and make basic adjustments using Lightroom. Then, I import the files into Photoshop and I edit them using the plug-in Color Efex Pro of Nik Software/Google or now DXO. Back in LR, I make the final and mostly minor color adjustments and cropping, etc. and convert them into jpg for posting.

Love your macros Ronny. Actually, love all you work! Can I ask what diffuser and speedlight you use for your macro shots?

Thank you, Mark! I am pretty much a self-taught guy although I did watch several how-to video tutorials and I played around with different settings a lot..

My favorite client and good friend got in touch last Friday to see if I could do a photo / video product shoot. Never one to shy away from a challenge (and money!), I said yes!! Full disclosure - I have never done a professional product shoot. I do have a lot of experience creating product shoots in virtual CGI/3D, so I drew on that to set up a real-world set in my apartment (many trips to Target for foam core and paper).

The product is a new water that is infused with Hemp. When shaken a certain way, it creates a vortex or "tornado" inside the bottle. This needed to be captured on film. 36 hours later, the end result was a slam dunk for the client, and one of the hardest, but most rewarding projects I've ever done!!

Note that these are far from "straight out of camera". A LOT of Photoshopping and post in After Effects to get the look, but all based on a solid initial image. NOTE that the "Tornado" is actually happening INSIDE the bottle, spinning in real time as I shot these stills (#1 and #3). It was quite a trick to shake the bottle and get it perfectly placed in time to catch the vortex before it died out.

A7ii + contax C/Y 28mm f/2.8 (at f/8) and a pretty complicated continuous LED lighting setup with V-flats and other diffusors/reflectors.

The 100-400 GM is a spectacular landscape lens. Pairs really well with the 16-35 ...

(Also posted in the landscape forums ...)

One with the 100-400 GM

And another with the 16-35 GM
