A few from mountain biking Sun Valley last weekend.... all taken with the A7iii and 24-70 f/4 because well, that's all I wanted to carry in my pack for a 20+ mile ride.
What I can say so far is that I like the Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art more than the Sony FE 35mm 1.4 ZA.
What I can also say is that, if you don't need AF, better get the Voigtlander VM 35mm 1.7 + 5m PCX filter.
If anyone ever measured the mtf of the Voigtlander VM 35mm 1.7 + 5m PCX filter lens at portrait distance they would be insanely good compared to
the Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art, Sony FE 35mm 1.4 ZA, Zeiss ZM 35mm 1.4, Leica 35mm 1.4 FLE and probably a host of 35s more that I didn't test yet.
That Tamron 35 1.4 leaves me wondering a bit. They make claims how it is the greatest lens they ever designed,
yet I did not manage to find a single picture taken with that lens....Show more →
Hey Bastian,
That is good to know about the Voigtländer 35mm 1.7.
For quite a time I thought about getting this one ( for my Leica M6, M2 and the future Z6 as well), though I do have
a very nice Zeiss ZF 35mm f2 which I used frequently on my d800. It is not easy to get rid of this marvel, though it has it‘s disadvantages for sure.
The Tamron is just coming out and there are only a few pictures you can check, for instance on the Tamron website, where you find samples which look really good to me.
Exciting afternoon watching the Sail GP races on the Hudson River from Battery Park, NYC. The wind was perfect, the sky was perfect, the sun was low and to the right and I was able to get a perfect spot right near the Finish line. All A7ii with Contax C/Y 180mm f/2.8 @ f/2.8.
Trip to Arches. Some at Delicate Arch and the surrounding areas. With either Tokina 20mm f/2, Or Planar 50mm f/1.4. EDIT: the petroglyphs were with a Voigtlander 180mm f/4. All on Sony A7II.

This may be one of my favorite sets you've posted. What sweet cows [insert crying face]. Your photography continues to inspire (along with everyone on this forum).
