I am just back from a week in Italy for work but I was able to steal some time to do a bit of sightseeing. Below are some images from the Basilica of San Vitale in Ravenna. A spectacular work of mosaic art. Two of the three were taken with the Voigtlander 15/4.5 III but I couldn't resist using the 24/1.4 GM under these conditions. It's an amazing lens to get this quality at f/2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilica_of_San_Vitale
I recently had the pleasure of trying out the unique Sony FE 100mm GM. I really liked it. Some unexpected dental costs obligated me to return the lens, but I'd like to get it back some day soon:
I had a difficult time editing this one due to high texture everywhere. Also, the green tones kept getting away from me. If you recall my wider shot of the Japanese Tea Gardens that included a waterfall. This is the same waterfall but looking up from a low perspective.
I got my new Voigtlander 15/4.5iii today and did a few tests. I'm happy to report the corners are sharp as a tack! Took it out to one of my favorite places tonight and absolutely love it.
