This guy made lovely, real sepia photographs, with this camera, on the street.
Developed right in the box and fixated outside the box.
Shot with tilt adapter.
So despite my kit woes (Contax G adaptor wasn't delivered though my Contax R90 was and my OM adaptor arrived but the lens didn't !) I was still able to enjoy the FE 55/1.8 on my trip to my wife's hometown. We drove the 5 hours there from Shanghai (great roads) and from there after a short break drove the final couple of hours out into the beautiful countryside of Wencheng County in Zhejiang Province in China.
This the first shot I have processed. It's of the 207m high (close to 700 feet) Bailinshan Waterfall. The second is a near 100% crop. I am able to compare these next to the shots from my primary for the day, a D800E and Zeiss 21mm. They did well, very well.
Shots from this evening with my favorite lens, the 50 Cron Rigid DR and A7r. I had put this lens aside while testing many other options. I really like this lens for B&W conversion, and its unique rendering. It is light, small and relatively inexpensive. Both shots were in low light, f/2.0 and ISO 6400.
Sunday, I had a walk-about downtown with the Minolta Rokkor 35 f 2.8. ( I had some errands to do & it sure is easy to grab the A7r with the tiny Minolta lens and take it along.)
