Nice photo and very timely posted for me as I'm exploring how to photographically approach my future trip to Europe. Quick question - why 1/500, were you intentionally looking to bump up the ISO for a slight "film" effect?
A couple of abandoned cabins with C/Y 50mm/1.7.
The strange weather continues. I took these on May 13. and look at the last two... A few days after it was about +20C in the shadow, then before this weekend temperatures dropped again to just 4-5C and this week they say it can be up to +26C! It has changed between these extremes for a couple of months now.
Sorry for the absence. Family and work have kept me busy.
Joshua: The mix between light and shadows above the lush green hills makes for an impressive landscape. Looks like the trip to Europe was well worth it.
Chris: Amazing milky way shots. If you don't mind me asking, did you use a tracker or just stack shorter exposures?
Helena: Looks like you're dealing with pretty extreme weather. Nice shots. I wouldn't dare to shoot in such heavy rain (or is that snow?).
Phillip: Given the bad (mediocre) rep of the FE 28, you demonstrated impressively that the person behind the camera is more important than the lens in front of the cam.
Ronny: Great macro shots. Those colors are sublime.
Jim: Are you slowly but surely moving towards wider lenses? First the 24-105 zooms, then the 28 2, now that old 20mm lens? Do I see a 14 1.8 in your future ?
Douglas: Beautiful series from the zoo.

Same here! Two days ago my heating system had swithed on in the morning, because it was 9 degs Celsius.Yesterday it rapidly turned to 30 and today is 32 degs! Forecast say it will stay like this over the next 2 weeks.
I start to long for the snow from your last beautifull pictures of the North,Helena.
