As I was making the post above, a neighbor called to tell me there's a rainbow over the lake. I ran down there with two cameras as fast as I could. Not only was there a rainbow but also an alpenglow at the same time. The colors were wild with magentas orange and blues.

Fantastic, Bob! It's the kind of shot you continually prepare for, with your shooting style. Excellent shot!
Was not supposed to be any color at sunrise today. Looked out the window and ran to get the camera. The color had faded and the lens on the camera was my C/Y 35-70 (not my first choice for pretty sun stars). Still figured why not post....
Sunrise at Fort Adams State Park in Newport Rhode Island. The sun never made it through the clouds but these were taken 15-20 minutes before the actual sunrise time. The light bounced beautifully off the clouds and reflected nicely on the water.
I like very much,(if I were American I would probably say "love",but "love" for me is the word that has a great weight and power,so I use it very seldom),to see the pictures you get with the good, old, humble MD 35-70/4. :-)
Rainer love these series of shots of a beautiful model in a amazing location !!! You have captured the feelings wonderfully.
Thank you Charles, the beautiful slightly reddish light at the Atlas Mountains of Morocco with such a beautiful woman are Portrait Heaven. And the 24mm is a good exercise for me to get more of the environment in.
