Samuli, have you previously posted pictures made with the Heliar 50/3.5 that I missed? Or are these two the first you've posted? The lens certainly seems to suit your style of shooting. And the second picture has such strong subject separation, even though the aperture was f/8.

Jonathon, these are the first photos from Heliar 50/3.5 I have posted on this thread. I got this lens to represent the classic simple lens (5 lenses in 5 groups, almost symmetrical) rendering style with sharp focus plane. I'm quite happy how this lens renders, however not totally happy as I expected the boke to smooth out completely by f/5.6, but it does not and I will be mostly shooting this lens @ f/8 due to this. I like these classic lenses with modern touch, like this lens and Zeiss ZM 1.5/50, but in the end I don't shoot so much with them. Time will show will this one be keeper.
Few photos from 2018 end of April, in 2019 our forests are still partially having snow cover and nature is super gray, not that these photos are super colorful

Birdie
Just returned from a trip to Pt. Reyes , CA. Didn't see too many birds, but beautiful area.
To some a common bird, but we don't see many American Robins around here.

What a beauty, Birdie! I love not only that it is in flight but also the translucent leg and part of the beak. Well done, Birdie!
