Some more from beta-testing Lensbaby Edge 35 in September/October.
In a previous post I said that I had to send it to the next tester after 3 weeks so I didn't get to keep it, but yesterday Lensbaby emailed and said that they will send me one of the beta units. What a nice surprise!
Carl Zeiss Biogon T* 2/35 ZM would be my favorite lens, but I don't like 35mm FOV at all. So I rarely shoot with this lens, just to enjoy it's rendering style.

The Old Man of Storr is already incredible to look at by itself, but with a bit of snow it is even more impressive.
Conditions weren't great to hike up there: very strong wind, several hailstorms and only for a short time it was actually possible to see it in all its glory.
Shot has been taken with 7artisans 28mm 1.4 FE+ @f/8 on Sony A7rII.
My review of this lens has been published today at phillipreeve.net.

Texas wildflowers in the heart of downtown San Antonio captured with the Zeiss 35mm ZE. I need to use this lens more. It has a pleasing focus fall off to me and nice color rendition. Perhaps it's a bit warm but I think it works well in this scene to capture the early morning light across the scene.
