Badwater Basin was a pretty location to shoot. This was early one morning after we scouted the previous day. Sunstar shot of the moon illuminating the salt formations.

A 2 image focus stack captured during our scouting trip to the mud cracks in Death Valley. I took a long exposure shot but I like the clouds in this version. The light was a bit flat but improved considerably for sunset later in the day.
