Ronny: Welcome back. As expected, you brought back more excellent pictures from that rip than ordinary bums like me shot in their entire photog life . How cold does it get on the Faroe Islands in January?
Werner: Beautiful landscape from Lofoten. I have to admit I envy Ronny and you for those trips.
Joshua: Those blue-eyed cormorants are really impressive. Great captures of those flying gems of nature.
Helena: You don't just have a great eye for composition, but also for more preserverance than me. I certainly wouldn't walk around in such weather.
Bob: No swan lake, but still nice shots of those ducks. How do you like the 600 ii thus far?
Mathieu: I like the close-up composition in shot No.2. It's in your face, in a positive way
Here is a panorama I took earlier this month with the 24-105 at 67mm and f7.1.

Thanks for the praise, Joshua. That shot was taken in Yokohama. Where in Japan are you headed to?
To a few cities in Japan and for sure, Nagasaki, via a cruise ship. Definitely a departure from my usual way of travel and yes, it wasn’t my idea but... 😋.

Nice shots with the 25, I think that one is next on my list.
Thank you Mathieu..This is not an easy and straighforward lens.It took longer than usual, before I learned how to cope with it in order to utilize it's strenghts. My practical advice is - take the MM rather than AE version of it.There are more CAs and corner softness with the AEs,compared to MMs.If the AE is a must - look for a lens with the serial number of at least 65xxx.
