Shot in the style of Nordstrom's print catalog with two strobes and a mess of studio modifiers. This was my third try on this art piece titled "50 Shades of Gold". You can see the lighting scheme—and the entire room actually—in the two globes of the so-called kissing lock:
The 2x-scale crop shows the sharpness of this amazing Canon tilt/shift, plus you can admire that full-depth alpha channel. The piece was shot on glass and processed with Gimp layers.
Two very different subjects. My son slouching on the couch...and my wife's wedding ring, which we recently got repaired. First with the Contax G 90/2.8 Sonnar, second with the FE 90 Macro.
