A beautiful scene on the Guadalupe River at Landa Park, New Braunfels. The mist was moving fast which created these nice leading lines in the foreground along with the color contrast of the vegetation.

and for the likes and comments i received during this year.

With no surprise my Christmas Tree for you is coming from Tuscany
To the contrary, thank you, Werner. As someone who works on the fly with 50ish lenses, frequently hoping for the happy accident, I have the greatest admiration not just for you but for all the photographers—too many to name—in this thread who exert an exquisite degree of mastery over their equipment and technique: choice of focal length, careful framing, precise stitching, dealing with rapidly changing light, yet producing images that appear to have been made effortlessly. Best wishes to everyone who has contributed this year and may we support and encourage each other to even greater visual excellence in 2019.
Here's a little comparison between the previously posted Zeiss ZE 35/2 "ghost" shot at bottom, and the ZE 25/2 version above. Somewhat less prismatic ghosting on the 25 (at least different characteristics), just the major blue globe at top. Overall, I like the sharpness on the 25/2.
Each image received individual PP at different times.
I like your shot of the shed a lot. It seems like such an unlikely subject and yet it is beautiful. Part of the beauty is the tonalities. Despite the dimness, the images glows. May I ask what you did to create the image generally and especially the tonalities, in terms of post-processing and/or exposure?
This is a picture of my best friends guitar next to our tree last night. He passed away earlier this year and I play it just about every day. I will cherish it the rest of my life. It's a great reminder of him and our life long friendship.
