After shooting the church that I posted here previously, I just knew I had to go back with a lens that would give nice sunstars. So I went back tonight with the Voigtlander 40/1.2.
More great skies for shooting.
Twelve bald eagles and one fish in the wind and snow.
I was trying my Sigma 150-600 with a non reporting 2x tc on the a7III, for the first time.

Joshua: Great capture of those waxwings. You nailed the "down the hatch" moment perfectly there . Many thanks for your praise. Here is another shot from the same location. This one with the Loxia 21 at f7.1.
Thank you, Chris! Those birds were hungry but very skittish. They perch on high trees and come down to feed on those lower berry plants. Just for a few seconds and they take off again. A slight movement was enough to scare them away.
Another great image from that location, Chris!

Ronny, your post gets a lot respect. Even without any image you got 6 likes as of this post. Kudos to you and yes, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!
C/Y 35-70, 35mm, F11. Every time I think about selling this lens, I take a pic that looks better than the scene has any right to look due to the lovely drawing style. Here is an example. Not a wall hanger, but I really thought it was going to be much less pleasing than this image.
