From a recent "Victorian-style" session using FE 50mm f/1.4...
Originally, I uploaded just one version and afterwards, I uploaded a softer and lighter version with muted colors of the same image. Which one do you prefer?
Thanks Jim, I think you're right, just need to bite the bullet on the 35! Nice work in Simi, I bet that's a fun place to wander around with a camera.

So many shout-outs to give!
Matthieu -- You're talking about it all the time as you post nice images from its competition (I like the first shot of the door a lot) -- just (re)buy the Loxia 35 already!

Thanks James, good eye, I'm guessing the blue feet gave it away? Not too many of us from these parts on here!

I'm leaning toward the more saturated version, but one that was in between these two might be best -- slight desaturated, and softened would be my choice. Both look good though!

Thank you very much, Jim! I am sorry for the delay in responding to the first post.... And I agree with your suggestion to render something in between.
You have shown the beauty of both your newly, although part time, adapted home area and your existing one - well done!
Last night I indulged my experimental abstract photography side tonight. This series is called "The Road Home". It documents my commute home after work, from downtown Juneau to the valley. They're trippy for sure. And colorful. But this time of year in Juneau, where it's been dark and constantly raining, I need some phantasmagorical colors :-) Gotta love the smooth reflection app. Here's hoping for some clear skies an auroras this weekend to satisfy my color-starved inner photog!
