Werner: Those iciles are amazing.
Joshua: Beautiful waterfall. (As always) you nailed the exposure perfectly there.
Helena: Beautiful melancholical series.
Chez: I like the effective use of long exposure in your landscapes from Hawaii very much.
Rene: Nice mountain vista. Your black/white images are always sublime.
Bob: Amazing lightning in this fern shot. Also shows off just how well corrected that Batis 135 is.
Mike: City lights and fog is a combination I haven't seen in quite a while. Nice.
Ronny: Sublime colors in that close-up landscape.
Geoff: Excellent wildlife shots. Do you already miss the cold North ?
Tim: Beautiful waterfall image. That composition makes you feel right in the middle of it.
Here is another shot I took two months ago up North. Loxia 35 stopped down to f11.
Thank you very much, Chris! Your image is awesome. Of course, I take that your understanding of “Up North” is completely different than mine . Thank you for sharing that wonderful image!

This is probably the best position of the violet sabrewing hummingbird of the series. And, I didn’t select this in the first round nor the second.... What’s wrong with me ?

Many thanks for the praise, Joshua. I'm still figuring out how to get blending done in a satisfactory manner.
Well, my "up North" is slightly further North than Northern Cali, if that's what you meant . Pretty much as far North as you can go on Japanese territory.
Man, I just became aware of the Voigtlander FE 21/3.5. I'd recently dismissed the idea a 21mm Zeiss (C/Y, Loxia, or whatever) as being financially impractical in the short/mid term. But the CV at @$699.... my wallet doesn't need this temptation.
