A7r3 + TAP + Canon 50/1.4 LTM. I kinda like this little lens . . .
The third one is wide open and the rest at f/5.6-8
Bob, it’s wonderful to see these lovely pictures made with the Canon 50/1.4 LTM. Version I of this lens was released in 1957 and version II in 1959. Isn’t it remarkable that a 60 year old lens works perfectly well — with autofocus! — on a state of the art digital camera? I haven’t used mine for a couple of years but it might be time to follow Peire’s example and put it back into the rotation. I know I’ll never sell it.
First images with my newest acquisition . . . Zeiss Opton Sonnar 50mm f/1.5 (Circa 1950). This lens has a Contax RF mount and no focusing ring. I've adapted the lens to fit Leica M so that focusing can be achieved with TAP or with the Voigtlander VM-E. Most of these are stopped down. It's a bit glowy wide open but nice at f/2 (more to come later).
