Yes. rolling shutter. Sometimes it's fun to just see what will happen.

a7III with a Sony 100-400 and a Sony 1.4 tc.
1/1250, f8, iso 800 and 500, @ 560mm.

A regular shot with the same equipment and roughly the same settings.

Yup the sensor readout time of the a7III is too slow to avoid rolling electronic shutter artifacts.
That�s why I use the A9. It seems fast enough to avoid the issue.
