So I just found out Sony removed AF (touch-to-focus) on their Playmemories app for A7rIII. Whomever made that decision, I'd like to buy him a beer, then punch him in the face with it.
This is a picture of my soul when I found this out. /sigh
(actually it's a crazy-big crop -- not bad I think but I'm amazed at the thin DOF at F/8 and MFD of the 28/2, which really isn't that close).
Also -- I'm not sure how it turned out? I have 2x monitors (a 17" IPS laptop monitor and a 24" gaming TFT) -- even with vibrance adjustments on the TFT, it looks washed out compared to the laptop, so I'm not sure which one to trust

Great shot. I really wish I got along with the 135mm focal length because that Sigma renders so nicely.
Thank you, Jeremy! I am glad you like that image. The image you posted above of that dried pepper is excellent! I like the details, the lighting and composition a lot. It shows how well an underrated lens can perform. Well done!
A closer up shot of the Millennium Gate Museum in midtown Atlanta. Based on the Arch of Titus, the monument celebrates peaceful accomplishment, with special attention paid to Georgia's history and people. Shot this with the Voightlander 12mm which is a lens I haven't used much lately but glad I brought it along.
