Red Pine plantation, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, N. Michigan.
Last year, I did a similar composition to this one, using a single cropped frame from my A7RII and a 55mm Otus. I returned to Sleeping Bear 2 months ago and found a few other pine plantations that I liked better, and shot with a variety of lenses. This one used Milvus 35/1.4, and this time it's stacked (5 or 6 frames) for better overall sharpness.
Took the Scanner Nikkor for a spin...
It will be part of my hiking setup as it is very small and light (approx. 9cm long and weight is 102g when adapted to Pentax K).
The last weekend of August is always interesting in my neighborhood. It is the weekend of the "Afro-Punk Festival", when a park near my building is transformed into Coachella. Brooklyn style. You know when you're next to a car with the sub-bass booming at 120db and it kind'a makes you nauseous? That's my apartment for 72 hours.
It have to admit, the crowds are interesting - all manner of costumes and dress (or un-dress) passing by my building all weekend. I'm fine with it. Just 3 out of 365 days. Some of the music is good! (Some.)
Here are a few photos from my roof.

That looks great! A beautiful pup. I see you used the 85mm f/1.8 on these. I have the Batis 85mm 1.8 and I was thinking I should’ve gotten the 85 f/1.4. But since I have the Zeiss Milvus 85mm f/1.4, I guess I won’t. The bokeh in your images looks great!

Chris, thank you for your kind words. Berlin's underground system is indeed one of the oldest in Europe. And, your flower image is very enjoyable.
Hi Greg, welcome to the Sony forum! Nice seeing your post here - your daughter's soccer image is wonderful, BTW!
Peire, I am impressed with your church interior images!

Another image from Berlin; it was captured at the stair case of a converted old apartment "painted" by local artists. The girl happened to be there ...
Thank you Joshua.I try to find the best way of using the Distagon 18/4 C/Y.
