Received my Marumi Achromat Macro-330 (+3) close up filter to use primarily with my Loxia 85. I tested it out this morning and it really does get some near macro performance. Here are a few all with the close up filter.

Beautiful colors!!!!!!! And the filter works well.
Thank you and yes the filter works very well on the Loxia 85, I'm very pleased with it. The Zeiss pop and contrast is maintained with the filter on as well.

This would be a stunning shot Toshiro, even without the dolphin! I am guessing this is a regular feeding spot rather than a lucky coincidence but either way it makes for a really interesting image with the apparent contradiction between wildlife and industry.
Great stuff! Everyone. Saw this heron catching/eating a fish yesterday morning, not the best angle as the bird was at the bottom of the dam. It took the bird about a minute from catching to devouring the fish. I captured the whole sequence but here are just three of them.
Not sure if anyone is using the Tamron SP 35 f/1.8 VC on their Sony's but I thought I'd post a few images. Lens is tack sharp even wide open, and only real weakness is CA that I can see. I find the bokeh quite nice, but I'm not one oft the hardcore alt lens guys, so take this with a grain of salt. Any vignetting you see was added in post.
