Maybe you will have to find a used 300/2.8L in nice condition? I know it's big, but if you only carry that and another lens with two bodies, it might not be too bad to lug around. You've obviously done it before, right?
Thanks Jim, I have been looking 300L, but I can't buy as I feel them too expensive when I see one in used market. With Sony I could not use IS, and personally I don't need AF, so I would need to pay for "extra stuff" I don't need.
Size and weight would not be much more than Sony 70-400. I had to upgrade from LowePro ProTactic 450 AW to F-stop Sukha (w/ Large Pro ICU) due to 70-400, and I don't see any problem carrying 300L, only issue is the money... With Canon I mostly used 300L for motocross, enduro & trial photography. Then I didn't even use camera bag, just throw 300L w/ 1DmkIII to shoulder (make sure strap is attached to lens, not to camera...) and 5DmkII w/ 135L or 85/1.8 to the other shoulder
Realistically I think I'll need to experiment low DOF panos using 400mm focal length, and create small panoramas 3-4 vertical images to make shallow DOF 200-250mm.
Thank you very much, Ronny and your images, wow, they are truly jaw dropping. Not to take away from the waterfall image but I really love the image of the tree in the front of the dark rock; it is just awesome. I am leaning more this kind of PP for my images, too.

Well, since it is an image thread, I will attach another image to my reply from Costa Rica then although it is the "opposite" of frogs...
