A few more from this morning. Voigtlander 50mm f/1.5 VM. Nice rendering but don't think this will be replacing my 40/1.2 any time soon.
The VM 50/1.5 works better on a film M. Smooths the bokeh out a bit...
Just returned from almost a month in the Canadian maritimes. No way to get caught up with this thread but perusing the last few pages the trend of stellar images from all continues.
This shot a shout out and huge thanks to Tim in Pennsylvania who made us aware of Ricketts Glen...we made it a point to stop by on the way back from Newfoundland. Nothing that hasn't been shot many many times and way better.....but you all know this attitude-this shot is mine
Don't have a film M, but it is a thin sensor... Actually like the bokeh in general, but as a whole it's not as interesting as the 40. Activatedfx wrote:

I've been posting primarily in the Loxia and CV image threads, so I'll post here instead this time around. Some shots from Rocky Mountain National Park and the Grand Lake area about a month ago.
Zeiss Loxia 2.4/25 FE @ f/8.0, 1/250s, A7r @ ISO 100
Sony 70-400mm F/4-5.6 G SSM @ f/11.0 & 70mm, 1/125s, A7r mkII @ ISO 100
Sony 70-400mm F/4-5.6 G SSM @ f/8.0 & 250mm, 1/250s, A7r mkII @ ISO 125
(for this kind of shots I miss having Canon 300mm f/2.8 L IS, alpha mount 70-400 or FE-mount 100-400 both need little closing down and they are already ~f/5.6 max aperture, I would so much prefer 300L f/3.2-3.5 quality and amount of boke blue for this kind of shots)
