I posted this to the Loxia/Milvus 25mm thread a few days ago, but I'll repeat it here since it's a completed image and not just a lens test. This is from the first day out with the new Milvus 25/1.4 (on A7RIII) at f/8. Potato Creek State Park, Indiana, just before sunset.
The first shot is at the junction of three states, NSW, QLD and SA, the second is looking back from there to the Cameron Corner pub.
If you like to party this is a great place on New Years eve, because of the time differences between states you can celebrate NYE three times in the space of an hour

Hi All,
I do believe it is some sort of Lily, but if anybody else has a better idea let me know. Most of my contact with plants involves me taking a lawn mower or weed whacker to them. Taken on the 7r2 and 100-400 GM @400mm.
That is what I had thought but wasn’t sure. I appreciate the info!
Cheers!
Ryan

It's a "Day Lily". Named, I think because they only last about a day. While they are alive, they are beautiful subjects to photograph! Nice photo BTW.
Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art is interesting lens. I think most of the time rendering style in boke scenes is quite annoying, but sometimes lens draws very nicely. E.g. first image has very nice rendering style to my eye, but for example 2nd image fails as the boke is too busy/distracting/rough on short edges of the image. This lens definitely would benefit post processing technique, in which sharpening, blackpoint etc. adjustments are done ONLY to stuff in focus plane (=using layers in RAW-processor or PhotoShop). Problem is that this kind of post processing takes lots of time, if there is lots of stuff in transition zone & boke in many different blur levels overlapped.
Also colors are quite "plastic"-like compared to Zeiss lenses (real Zeiss, not Zony). I'll have to experiment with polarizer to adjust the color of leaves etc., maybe it helps.

Evening around the garden. VM 40/1.2, some with the Nikon #1 Close-Up lens. I just love the way this lens draws.
Mathieu, I LOVE the 2nd pic, of the chairback...the way it pops away from the gorgeously-warmly-toned frame behind it, etc. EXCELLENT seeing of something you see probably every day.
