a73, MB5, Canon 50 f2.5 macro.
Just a note, this lens would not "macro" with the MC-11.
It would focus for something like an everyday shot, but it would not close focus.
With the MB5 in green mode (the only mode I tried) it worked very well.

Lieutenant Z... your portraits are uniformly superb, but this one really stands out for me.
Are these ever posed? Care to share how you manage these close up shots?
And I see you are shooting the FE 55 a lot... still shooting the 40 Cron or your other MF glass?
Thank you, glad you like it.
All my pics are spontaneous shots and are never posed or staged. When it comes to street shots spontaneity is what I'm really after actually.
For this kind of close ups I often shoot from the hip and on-the-fly. But to tell the truth I just press the button and hope for the best...
Yes I'm currently shooting the FE 55 a lot as it works well with the A7III's super fast AF. But I still love and use my Leica and Nikon MF lenses.
This guy almost hit us while we were hiking. Didn't have time to even lift the camera and thought he was gone. Found him around the corner sitting in a low tree. He was nice enough to stay there while I took his photo. Second is crop of the first.

Too bad, we cannot control the weather. Yet, the resulting image is superb!
Both you and Aztatlan are killing with images from Patagonia but what’s the deal wit the 2-hour hike😟? Ascending or fairly flat?
Thanks! My image was taken approximately 9km from the trailhead so would be about a 2.5 hr hike. Though we camped nearby making access quite easy, but one must hike in with all camping gear. The first 45 minutes or so has a fairly punishing elevation gain, going from about 300m to 700m or so but after this it flattwna out considerably and becomes quite flat with some occasional ups and downs.
Not the greatest shot, but hey, someone has to bring this thread back down to earth.
1/160, f6.3, iso 16,000, handheld, jpg, cropped to about 60% of the full frame.
Grainy, yes, but I got the barred owl with a bullhead.

Thanks Joshua, your photos are all amazing! Hiking to Lake Capri was a fairly easy hike from El Chalten village, ascending only 600M, the last 30 mins was almost flat. It took us almost 5 hours RT including time for photo stops.
