Will you then keep the Ultron 35/1.7? You do such good work with that
lens already . . .
Thank you! That's a good question... Today I got unsure about the CV 40 after have looked at some of my CV 35 and 50 photos and more examples from the 40mm... There's no hurry, so I will wait for the M version and see what people think about that one before deciding.
@ Helena: As much as i like most of your Monolens shots i have to be honest and admit i prefer your work with classic lenses, it's just classic beautiful.
Thank you Werner! You're probably not the only one and that is fine of course!
I love the Monocle's dreamy rendering though and intend to continue using it, at least until I get tired of it.
Got to do a bit of astro with my new Laowa 15. A bit of coma in the corners, but honestly it was a joy to use. You can focus past the infinity symbol just a tad, and hard-stop is perfect focus for stars while the center of the infinity symbol is perfect for landscapes.
This was pretty close to the cities so there's a fair amount of light pollution, plus it was around 8:30 at night so not exactly the darkest skies anyways. Still, I'm happy with the results.
My FE 12-24 arrived a few days ago, weather not brilliant but I was able to get to Wells - a regular haunt, and one of the first Cathedrals I ever photographed a fair few years ago !
