I hate getting a cool new lens and not immediately having time to work it out. Getting ready for a week or two car camping and hope to use the lens a lot then, but for now a low-effort quick snap of a flower is the best I can do.
More random shots around town with the Voigtlander 65/2. This lens is easy to love. I think Fred or DBM said it in another thread . . . "Just buy it". So glad I did.

I said I wanted to take that lens for a spin but I got tied up. So far nothing but test images over 3 days but, like you, Bob, I am also very pleased with what I saw. The real test will be in Yosemite this weekend
CY28/2.8 at its usual setting of f8. Sea of goats and sheep heading downvalley. Got a little lucky here with this shot from inside the jeep. One far guy is riding the goat in front of him rather than plunging down the very steep hillside. They are absolutely huge and would frighten many a large dog, you see them scale two metre retaining walls. Main Highway near Jispa, in Himachal.
