due to your fantastic pictures with the FE100-400. I had to buy it. the first 3 "test shots". first impression wow! there are no excuses for bad pictures in the future

During my trip, we drove a car about 2300 miles ( 370 mil )
for 9 days .. back and forth to different places and the guest houses where we stayed on during the trip
The longest walk was about 3 kilometers by foot ..We started in the southern middle part and ended in northern Iceland
so we went a lot in the car but there was plenty of time for photography also

Infrared (850nm): cherry orchard near Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, N. Michigan. A7RII, Loxia 85mm. I haven't used the Loxia 85 much until last week, and I'm glad to find that it works great for infrared.
Travellers need a few different things in a lens from many others, I feel. And if you can get them in a oft-used small normal lens, so much the better. The FE 55/1.8 consistently delivers high clarity, subject empathy, brightness of color, a sure feel for tonality and excellent subject-background separation with attractive or at least unobtrusive bokeh. All in whatever light you encounter. It has faults but then again, too few to make a difference against its virtues.
