On my screen #1 is just perfect... #2 is too bright in the face
Wonderful images. No 1 reminds me the times when I had to pass annual exams in the music college. Those upset young boy's hands on the keyboard....
Piano was my leading instrument and I liked it very much.Almost as much as singing in the choir and much more then playing violin (nasty teacher!),trumpet (faulty instrument that I had to use) and flute (which my early girlfriend played much better)/
Wyoming or Montana? I can't remember but the Beartooth Highway goes from one state to the other. Most of the sky was smoke filled when we were in that area but looking southeast for just a little while the morning we drove over found this sky-

Ronny, those Iceland shots are always amazing. The one of the falls was just breathtaking.
Digital_AM, I got a huge smile out of the Johnny 5 shot. Well composed, and great title...memories...
A few random images. Not nearly enough time to shoot these days. Why does "work" have to be required to "eat" and "pay mortgages?" Why can't we just play with lenses all day?!?!?!?
These pages are really amazing. Ronny - What can I say? Your work is breathtaking!
Couple of seagull shots in Stockholm. A7RII with FE 24-70 GM I don't usually bother with seagulls but these birds caught my attention. This 24-70 GM really makes me think prime lenses are not so important anymore.
Thank you Dale .. appreciated
Thought for a long time at the composition at Dettifoss
The water steam from the fall made it almost impossible to get forward with a wide-angle
Don't know if this composition works?
Anyway, it had to be this and raise iso and faster time and try to keep the tripod steady
It was heavy wind which we had every day except 2 days
The wind was between 15-20 seconds per meter and in the winds even more
rain, hail and wet snow also on many days ..wonderful island weather
Have a couple of others with 16-35 that I may try to edit later and see how they work

I got busy today doing comparisons between the 12-24G and 17 TS-E lenses. No, you're not seeing a double post! Check the info below each shot.
All hand held, so there is some slight shot-to-shot variation. Also, the color balance of each lens is noticeably different and I've attempted to find the happy medium. PP in LRCC.
Two different bodies used: a7R and a7R2 -- don't get too concerned, this isn't "science," just "user" comparisons.
My purpose is to see how the 12-24G holds up IQ-wise and also "crop-ability" to match the TS-E l lens (subject 3, frames 5,6 -- 12-24 shot cropped to match 17 TS-E) and how much image there is to work with to match 17mm subject when shooting 12mm and then cropping to size (subject 4, frames 7,8)
