Recovering from a 2-week illness, I finally felt good enough (barely) to get out with my a7R II + Batis 135mm to find something to shoot (first one @ f/8, remainder @ f/2.8):

Hi David, I am sorry to hear about you health situation and i am glad that you have recovered from that illness. I love your images using the Batis 135mm - impressive and that in more than just optically.

Here is another image from Corona del Mar from last night. Although I like the images using the SRA but frankly, in this case, I still prefer the image using the normal way of exposure, showing water cascading down after the splash on the rock. This was taken some 20 minutes later after the sky turned less blue and the sun was about to set.
Contax 35-70/3.4. This is the road gang's third go at the crossing of this nala turned raging torrent, come snow melt time. After the simple drive across crossing, the second bridge is now dodgy for heavy trucks (this is the main highway that supplies Ladakh) so the higher level bridge is underway. They have moved enough earth to ensure the 'river' keeps to its course, for a while anyway. The light was an unreal bleach out, but the CY zoom's colors stayed true.
More lens testing today. Did not take any filters with me, but thought the light had a chance of being decent. Yet another "Walking Dead" view of Atlanta shot...
Playing with a new toy today, Tamron Adaptall 300mm f/2.8 60B lens. Bit chunky hand held but doable. Also a fun 600mm equivalent of m4/3 but here are the FE shots.
Took this while testing out my Sony 100-400mm with 1.4x TC a couple of weeks ago at the airport. I liked the birds in flight in the foreground coupled with the airplanes parked in the background.
Every autumn the grey herons gather in a small nearby lake and it is time to bring out the big gun (though maybe not big enough). The half tame mallards are easier targets.
I want to say some nice things about the small Contax (CY) 28/2.8. I used it a lot recently because it is the fastest manual focus lens I've ever used, and I mostly work out of a jeep (with its driver), and don't want to hold up the car for long. Also it is very 3D and has a robust color performance, just a little lateral CA which the s/w cleans up very well. Here are a couple, of old chortens (Tibetan word for 'stupa'), strongly lit background too:
I used to think they were just hairy cows until I had to run from one outside of Banff years ago to save my skin. What saved me was a tight knit grove of aspen I dove into.
This time I had enough distance for comfort.
