Really like the look of your flower shots Ronny. You make excellent use of the 100 MP (and Zeiss 100-300) in so much of what you do. However, your flower shots are quite different in look. Do you do some reduction of saturation? Whatever your technique, it is refreshing to see flowers with a look you can call your own.
Thank you very much! Appreciated
A few years ago I was shooting a lot of flowers
However, I have not done that so much lately
My edit on flower shots.. I often use split toning
Some old shots

A few from the eclipse yesterday. Was standing 300 ft from the center line on an Island in the middle of the Mississippi River. Heck of a sight! All three taken on the 7r2 and the 100-400 GM at f/8.
Well I got the t-shirt, literally. Nearest totality for us was 3.5 hours away on the shores of Watts Bar Lake near the nuclear plant. The marina where we camped actually cooked up t-shirts for the event
First shot a bracket via the a7Rii.
Second a collage where central image and 'rings' on the left via the A7Rii and all processional
shots via Oly M1ii.
Joshua: More amazing portraits of beautiful subjects with and without feathers .
Steven, Chuck, sebboh and many others: Great work capturing the eclipse. I hope everybody's eyesight is still fine.
Ronny: Excellent macro shots with amazing colors.
Rene: Beautiful bokeh on those bike close-up shots.
Werner: Beautiful black and white shots.
Philippe: Nice ride .
Here is a recent shot with the Samyang 14 2.4 at f8. This lens is definitely superior to the old 14 2.8 (as it should given the differential in price).
This close-up was taken earlier this summer with the 70-300G at 300mm and f6.3.
Thank you, Chris! I like both ways, too . Excellent firework and close up of the purple flower images!

I posted an image of landing owl previously; that was before the owl reached the branch and still separated. This is the following sequential image just before it grabbed the branch. That will be it for the time being but I will be going to this site again this coming Saturday, hoping that I would be able to catch more exciting action of images of them.
