Still a bit hazy. Perhaps the 135 is not such a bad lens.
Nice balcony view, some of us need to travel half day with airplane to get anything close to that kind of views... C/Y series rendering is so nice, all samples on previous page from 2.8/135 present the rendering style well.
Forward 40 years and Zeiss was able to create modern lens, which rendering style is as great as as C/Y Sonnar 3.5/100, but at same time technical performance is very high on modern scale, and somehow they managed to also fit f/2.4 max aperture to lens. So many nice lenses, so little time, what a time to be alive and shooting

Zeiss Loxia 2.4/85 FE @ f/2.4, 1/60s, A7mkII @ ISO 250
Zeiss Loxia 2.4/85 FE @ f/2.4, 1/60s, A7mkII @ ISO 250

Thank you a million, Samuli.
Not complaining about my balcony view.
Love modern Zeiss lenses and see their technical advantages. Next purchase will be Zeiss Loxia 21mm even though
I already have the FE16-35/4 lens. But first will have to see whether Sony A7Rii or A9R will become companion to my
aging A7R.
Look forward to seeing more of your shots taken with Zeiss lenses, modern or vintage.

Has anyone tried the Contax Telephoto 135mm f/2.8 Sonna for landscape? Would love to see some samples. Thanks!

I have this lens and normally I use it while not carrying the 100-300. Have not done a lot of landscape with it and only took a night shot once. Not terribly thrilled with the 6 point sunstars...
About a billionty pages behind here. Fantastic shots, as always...
A few test shots with the Voigtlander MACRO APO-LANTHAR 65mm F2 Aspherical.
Lots of breezes, so lots of foliage movement too.
This guy was out of the flower and gone in half a second. Hoped to get a nice macro shot, but between the breeze moving the flowers, and his motion, I was lucky to get him even a little in focus.
