Werner - I could decorate a house with your Tuscany shots! Amazing!
Thank you, Dale! I enjoy the images from your cruise. I was in Tromso several years ago and I did go to that Arctic Cathedral over the bridge there in your post further down.
And I agree with your sentiment about Werner's Tuscany images, too!

Also thanks Joshua for the kind comments. You might want to know that I also used the a6000 I purchased from you a while ago with the wedding in Ireland. I put it in my wife's hand on auto everything with the 24-240 to just grab what ever she could. Below is one of her shots....
I am glad that you or your wife is still enjoying that camera. Great shot!

René, Chuck, Joshua, thanks for the kind words!
Samuli, fantastic set! Wow! And René (again!) And Werner (this is getting old)! And Joshua (what else is new?)! And Ronny (the Midas of photography)! And Butch (out of original words)! And Danny (this site is down for maintenance, will be back shortly)! And Mike (Error 404)! And Gregg....
Boy, am I glad Helena, and Bob and John and Fred and... didn't offer shots in this brief time span...
The second shot is especially for Dale.
Manuel, Paris isn't that far from Parma. If you care to come, you would not only be able to see my Otus in action, but you could try them out. I really enjoy a meet-greet-and-shoot. This is true for others as well... ...Show more →
Philippe, you are very generous; thank you! And you flower images are lovely, buddy!

I took the FE 12-24 to the Getty Center the other day and as I anticipated, it performed well for the architectural photography there. Yes, you can bet that I will be posting some more later on . But I also tried that lens out for close up images of 3-D objects, like statues, etc while incorporating the surrounding. Here is the first interesting one just for fun.... BTW, you can take pictures of everything there but no tripod and no flash are allowed. I care less for flash but a tripod would have been handy. I had to rely on the IBIS and high-ISO setting of the A7r II while closing down the aperture a little.

Dale, thn'x for your generous compliment, just wait a bit and you will make similar shots - you don't even need an Otus - just get up very early and to the right places....
Joshua, looks good the 12-24 - his forward foot is quite long....
Norwegian fjords continued - A7RII with Canon EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II and Metabones IV adapter. I should say to be fair, I am enjoying this lens more in post processing than I am when shooting. It captures amazing detail at all focal lengths and it is hard to believe that many of these shots are taken at 400mm from a moving ship.
