Thanks Manuel and Gregg. I appreciate your comments. Gregg, give me a PM and let me know if you would like to talk anytime.
Great variety of lenses and new lenses here in the last period... tests, opinions, great images and nice stories all in one! Thanks & Kudos everyone

So many people to congratulate. Werner, your ultra-wide pic is totally stunning. René, your picture just above it is awesome. Manuel, superb! Joshua, your owls! Samuli, one-of-a-kind! And Bob, Dale, betacamman, Olaf, Kierzkow!
forgot to thank you Philippe... too kind as usual... always impressed from your Otus grabs, would be nice to see you in action with such monster lenses
This is Chasm of Czar, an instrumental rock/post-rock band from Duluth. Great stuff, fun to watch and shoot.
I've forgotten which lens was used for each photo, but I'm pretty sure these were shot with the Canon New FD 24mm f/2 and Voigtlander 35mm f/1.7 Ultron VM. The Canon New FD 24 f/2 has a lot going for it, but I'm leaning toward selling it and sticking with my Sony FE 28mm f/2. I haven't tried it for stars/nightscapes yet - the FE 28/2 does well on that front (coma, etc) but there's a chance that could change my mind.
I have bought A7RII for a few month now but never share any images here. Brought it with me for the last trip to Canada. I bought it with Zony 35f2.8 and 55FE and 70-300FE. For the trip I only bring the 70-300 native lens to cover long end. and use Leica 15VC and 21SEM and 50lux on it occasionally with RX1 is pretty much cover my 35 need. Because I really enjoy shooting OVF as much as possible during day time, I can't exchange 50lux with 55FE for this trip even with inferior performance on A7RII. The A7RII sensor performance is incredible.

Beautiful shots. I especially like the last two. How do you find the Canon 100-400 & MB4 on the a7rii?
My opinion varies with the hour of the day. When I am tired I just want to toss the lens away. It is really heavy around the neck and I never shoot with a tripod. It is the sharpest 400 I have ever handled. The AF is a mixed bag. Sometimes it wants to hunt and other times it is quick. Manual focus is good. If I were paying close attention I would note the focal lengths and apertures on the AF behavior, but it is what it is and that is pretty good on the Metabones IV. I went back one software version because the latest Metabones software caused erratic AF behavior. It may be corrected by now but what I have is working fairly well.
