Looks great Bastian! I tried this exact set-up and it worked quite well. AF was fast!
Thanks!
I can confirm that, AF works quite well and face detection (not to mix up with eye AF) also worked reasonably well.
I also shot an oldtimer race last weekend (shots to follow) but here I wasn't overly happy with the AF-C performance.
But I am not sure whether this is the adapted lenses' or the camera's fault.
It is not like there was any comparabale native lens to really pin this down...

Sorry, I can't see the exifs on my tablet. What ISO did you use?
ISO 250, daylight WB and 1/13 second exposure. I've lifted the shadows a lot though, to +83 in ACR. But that would correspond to just a few stops.
This blotchy noise has been present in many of my images with the A7 and A7II, but only when the light is very cold/blue. I.E. mostly in skies at low light. It doesn't go away until you apply so much NR that the image is ruined.

Thank you, Makten!
Great exposures and PP, Helena! Good choice of subjects for this lens. I like the window a lot.

Some more from the Russian Monolens/Monocle. Like the Lensbaby it has a learning curve and I'm still trying out various subjects to see what works and not.
Gregg -- That Loxia 35 really pops, even on the Kindle Fire HD I'm using here without computer.

Fantastic grabs all! Joshua, Butch, Rene, Olaf, Werner(have to agree with Butch!)....wow!
Butch and Joshua...I(we) had a super time on Kauai. 13 days of bliss. AND, my wife and I bailed for Maui on her bday for 3 days and left Mason and Gio with our friend Sarah and Mike(father-in-law)! Great time! Most of my shooting took place during the daytime. My cheapo tripod leg clamp broke somehow someway so I wasn't able to do anything other than handheld. No biggie. I'm not much of a tripod shooter anyways!
Here are a few more from Honolua Bay, Maui.

Anyone using a polar filter on this ?
Does it work for 16-20mm
If so any hints on a good 72mm
It works Ronny... probably not so uniform (constant) on big blue sky frame. My choice is Hoya HD, good balance quality/price in my opinion.
About 16-35, hope your copy is as good as mine... one of my best purchase

Have trouble seeing and knowing how to test it properly
But what I saw after the first round of tests, I think it looks okay ..
the corner is not 100%, even with small aperture
But I can not see any big differences on the left and the right side anyway and at different focal lengths
Knowing that it's should be as good as Loxia 21 on 21mm it's not ...I would not have expected that either
It is much easier to use as all-round lens on landscape ..So there are benefits
But in fact I have tested far too little to have any opinion
Ronny, I would be careful using a polarizer on anything wider than 35mm when taking shots where the sky is involved. This can result in dark non-uniform color and tones in the sky. It works really well and is essential I think around water and foliage. I would not advise CPL when shooting panos either.

A view of the restaurant at our San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA). Too bad it's currently closed for renovation. This is one case where I would have liked to have people dining in the shot.
