This is the view of the lake at the Janet Huckabee Arkansas River Valley Nature Center in Fort Smith, AR. I didn't know this place existed in town until my sister-in-law took us late one morning. I sure wish I had arrived 2 hours earlier for better light.
Now something quite different from the colorful image I just shared above.
My son racing another little boy and having a great time. I was nervous he would slip which he did but he popped right up. Remember these days when we were this age?
I've been looking at everyone's terrific work this last month-plus, leaving "likes" as I could.
It's really odd to shoot for over a month and not upload any images or PP them! Just a little review at end of each outing using rear LCD and the magnifier. Been itching to see how they will translate here on FM.
Here's one from the near beginning of the trip -- the only one I've PP'd so far. Really liking the new Loxia 21!
Old cedar stump with decomposing slash, with new unregulated growth.

It is simply amazing how fast this thread moves . . . and all with spectacular photos!
I few from my trip to Cleveland last week. There will be a lot of exploration of this city . . .
Great shots, Bob! I like how you cover the subject from so many narrative angles.
Waiting for me on my return: Ukrainian MIR-1B 37mm f/2.8! I immediately reversed the front element and took a few practice shots in the office. Fun! Looking forward to trying more. (Got to try to catch up to Helena's terrific Lensbaby work! )
Thanks for showing the way. Looking forward to more of your work of all types.
Used an adapter with dandelion chip, so please ignore the f/stop and focal length. These were wide open, or one is a stop down to f/4.
Cactus Galore....at Jardin Exotique in Eze Village, French Riviera. I noticed that whenever there's some cactus present at a garden, it's called "Exotique"
Have you checked to see if that lens has a focus shift issue? I notice your focus is behind the face, back of the head. Saw that on another shot too, just thought you might have mis-focused. Nice shot otherwise.

A few daylight shots with the MIR-1B 37mm f/2.8. All at f/4. This time the Sigma MC-11 adapter and plain M42 fully manual adapter, the previous set was with Fotodiox AF adapter and dandelion chip M42 manual adapter.
