Dammit Jack....You gotta use the 80 Lux, don't you!! I'm having a really hard time...holding off of that lens!
Love the first flower shot! It has a fantastic softness, that's just, well, incredibly pleasing!!
Here are some R Lux 50 shots on my A7, with my new Sony HVL-F60M flash, and some of the first shots, all SOOC jpgs with a few minor tweaks...Gotta say, I like the flash so far!
Gregg, fantastic shot by the 50 R, I love how the way it renders but too bad, I can't justify another 50 mm lens.
Wener, you remind my problem of the absence of ultra wide in my A7 kit.. cool shot. I was thinking of the ZM 18 f/4. Any advise?

I know the feeling! I did just happen to buy the FE 55, though! Want to see how it compares to the R 50...and I thought I would try AF on the A7, too!! Some of the images taken with it look really nice...

I can recommend the Zeiss ZE Distagon (or ZF, depending if you have an other Cam Nikon/Canon) 18/3.5 with a Metabones Smart II adapter. It is much smaller than the famous 21.
I would not go the M-Line of lenses, well maybe the CV 21/1.8....all my tests with WA M lenses failed.
The (in this shot) used Nikkor 15/3.5, i had it for 30 years and it was sitting in the vitrine on an F4.
It works really superb on the A7R, has almost no distortion but is prone to flares, it collects light from everywhere. But it is real fun to use such old lenses you never thought you would...
does anyone have issues of color change after they take a picture?
Right after i take a picture when i look at the screen the color changes slightly, does anyone know why?

If you're shooting jpg, the camera then adjusts the image depending on what settings you have for the camera, ie...vivid, BW, DRO,..etc

If you don't have the Live View set with Setting Effect ON, you will not see your picture settings before the image is taken, but you will see it on the image review that shows immediately after you take the image. If you go in the menu and change Live View so Setting Effect On is enabled, you shouldn't see a difference between the live view shown in the EVF and the image review after the shot is taken.
Thanks guys! I'm shooting in raw and My live view setting is on; so what I see is what I take.
However; with those settings after I take a picture on my 2 sec review on the screen changes color slightly. I have DRO off and standard setting but stil getting a slight change in color right after I take the picture
Ex. Take a picture, look at the 2 sec review (during this time color slightly changes, sometimes warmer)
Thanks for your help I really appreciate it and just want to get to the bottom of this. I haven't updated to the new firm ware as well
